CHENNAI: Health checkups and cataract screening have been scheduled for various parts of the city on Sunday.

The Velachery Dhandeeswarar Voluntary Health Service Trust would be organising a free medical camp at the Dr. Guruswamy Mudaliar Memorial Dispensary, 11/7, Pillaiyar Koil St., Velachery, between 9.30 a.m. and 12.30 p.m.

The Sankara Eye Hospital would be organising cataract screening camps at the Arakkonam Taluk and Madhavaram. The free eye screening and cataract surgery camps at the Panchayat Union School in the Kuthambakkam Village, Arakkonam Taluk, and at the Rexyin House, 99, GNT Road, Madhavaram, have been scheduled to begin at 9 a.m. A dental check-up is also slated for the same day in association with the NGO CAN-STOP.
