Staff Reporter
VISAKHAPATNAM. Commissioner of Police N. Sambasiva Rao on Saturday warned of stringent action against people indulging in hit and run cases. He said people involved in accidents should immediately rush the patients to the hospital or alert 108 for help.
In response to an accident that occurred at Resapavanipalem on Monday, he said Pothina Narasimha Naidu was caught after he was found responsible for the hit and run case.
Mr. Rao said they would hold awareness camps on traffic regulations among auto drivers and others. He said autos would be seized if they were found carrying more than six children.
