New Delhi: Two eunuchs hailing from Kolkata were arrested in the Capital for their alleged involvement in thefts at traffic signals, police said on Saturday. Shabnam (24) and Kiran (19), residing in the Capital for past many years, were caught from an underpass in Pandav Nagar area of East Delhi for allegedly stealing one Pardeep Bhatia’s mobile phone and wrist watch 10 days ago, they said. According to the complaint, the duo had stopped Mr. Bhatia’s car in Patpatganj area on the night of June 19 and demanded money from him. Pardeep, who was travelling with his friend, claimed that when he refused to pay, the eunuchs forcibly took away his mobile phone and wrist watch and fled in an autorickshaw. After a complaint was filed with the police, the driver of the autorickshaw, Dhanjay Kumar Rai, was arrested and the vehicle impounded.
