This Day That Age
Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia, the Socialist Leader, has suggested that recruitment to the Central Services in the next ten years should be reserved for people from non-Hindi speaking areas. Speaking on the problem of South and North with special reference to Tamil Nad, “at the Weekly Thought Session” at the Central Office of the Socialist Party office on June 29, Dr. Lohia said that one of the methods to solve the language problem in the South was to introduce regional languages to replace English in all the States and adopt Hindi at the Centre.
