Murdoch factor

I agree with Paul Krugman that “the day media baron Rupert Murdoch succeeds in acquiring The Wall Street Journal will be a black day in the history of American media and democracy” (June 30). Mr. Murdoch’s News Cor p., which owns Fox News, believes in first making claims and then simply ignoring inconvenient subjects. It is only the voice of the common people that can help in bringing about a change and averting “the takeover.”
