Thotapalli RMC : TDP threatens stir

VIZIANAGARAM: Deviation in the execution of right main canal (RMC) of Thotapalli project will deny irrigation facility to over 32,000 acres in six mandals in Vizianagaram and Srikakulam districts, according to K. Kala Venkata Rao, TDP deputy leader in the Assembly.

He demanded that the canal works be executed as per the original plan else the TDP along with other parties would launch an agitation. Former member of LS from Parvathiupuram D.V.G. Sankara Rao was present.
