Magician Uday Bhaskar to anchor the fiesta Winners in competitions to get attractive prizes
VIJAYAWADA: Keen on adding a dash of laughter and fun to the academically-burdened lives of children, Hotel Fortune Murali Park and M&M Shopping Mall are jointly hosting a ‘Maaza Monsoon kids fiesta’ on July 8. Hotel general manager Mohammad Shoeb told reporters on Monday that children could have non-stop fun and entertainment from 10.30 a. m. to 5 p.m. which would be anchored by Hyderabad-based famous magician and compere Uday Bhaskar. Three groups
“Various competitions like dancing, singing, hand-writing and painting will be conducted to encourage creative pursuits among the children. Attractive prizes are in store for winners. Children up to the age of 15 years can take part in the competitions,” he said. Mr. Shoeb said children would be divided into three groups in tune with their age and top three competitors in each age group would be given prizes. “But we will not be disappointing the remaining children. We will give return gifts to all participants,” he said. About 50 to 75 under-privileged children from various non-government organisations and orphanages would also be invited to take part in the activity. “It is our social responsibility and, hence, we’re inviting them to join the carnival to enable them to exhibit their prowess along with the privileged ones,” according to Mr. Shoeb. The hotel premises would be decked up to give a festive look with balloons and cartoon characters along with several joy rides. “Uday Bhaskar will entertain the children with his magic tricks and talking doll feats. We are also installing game stations to keep the children busy.” While enjoying their day-out in the hotel, children could have a special ‘kids buffet’ crafted by the chefs keeping in mind the tastes and preferences of tiny tots and younger lot. “Mini pizza, mini burger, kathi rolls, enchiladas, Chinese bhel, baby corn chocolate brownie and tri-colour soufflé are some of the items on the special menu,” chef Sachin Talwar said. Rs.195 would be charged for each child as entry fee.
