Drive against unrecognised schools

KARIMNAGAR: The district administration has decided to launch a special drive against private unrecognised schools in the month of September.
Reacting to a telephone call during the weekly ‘Dial Your Collector’ programme on Monday, Collector M V Satyanarayana said that they would take all measures to regularise all unrecognized schools and ensure basic amenities in the private schools.
He instructed the District Education Department to prepare modalities for the recognition of all private schools in the district.
He said that during the last academic year about 400 private schools were recognised in the district by launching a special drive.
The Collector received 17 calls during the ‘Dial Your Collector’ programme and instructed the authorities to take necessary action.
Joint Collector K Sashidhar and other officials were also present.
