U.S. Government still a “killing machine”: Castro

Havana: Cuban President Fidel Castro has charged that the U.S. Government continues to be a “killing machine” more than for decades after it tried to use American mobsters to poison him.

In an essay publihed on Sunday in the Communist Youth newspaper Juventud Rebelde, Mr. Castro suggested the declassified U.S. documents may be an attempt to convince people “that these methods belong to another epoch and that now they don’t use them.”

“The empire has created a real killing machine made up not only of the CIA and its methods,” Mr. Castro wrote in refernce to the U.S.. — AP
