Decision on Sasan project deferred

NEW DELHI: The uncertainty hanging over the fate of the 4000 MW Sasan Ultra Mega Power Project in Madhya Pradesh continued with the Empowered Group of Ministers (EGoM) on Monday having failed to take a decision on the issue and instead decided to defer the matter till July 24. The EGoM also decided to extend the bid validity by one month to August 5.
