Kochi to host Natl.-ranking TT

KOCHI: The Southern India National-ranking table tennis tournament will be held in Kochi from September 5 to 8.

Apart from confirming the venue and dates of the Southern India tourney, the Executive Committee of

the Kerala Table Tennis Association which met here on Sunday, also decided to allot the State championship to Thiruvananthapuram. The event will be held from November 14 to 18.

(Thiruvananthapuram, July 27-29); YMCA, Kottayam (Aug 3-5); Sentinals Club/ KDTTA Open (Kozhikode, Sept 1-2); Southern India National-ranking tournament (Kochi, Sept 5-8); Regional Sports Centre Open (Kochi, Sept 21-23), Thiruvananthapuram YMCA (Sept 28-30), District championships (Oct 5-7); KDHP Open (Munnar, Oct 12-14); Malappuram District Open (Oct 19-21); Kannur District Open (Oct 26-28); Kerala State Championships (Thiruvananathapuram, Nov. 14-18). — Principal Correspondent
