More land for rehabilitation

KOCHI: The Ernakulam district administration has identified an additional three acres to accommodate the families at Edachira whose land will be acquired for the proposed Smart City project.

Already 2.92 acres have been identified for rehabilitating the affected families. However, under the rehabilitation package, which was recently approved by the State Government, more land would be required to accommodate all the 59 families.

The newly identified land is part of the 104 acres with the Industries Department.
