Woman Army officer ends life

Jammu: A woman Army officer of the rank of Captain committed suicide on Sunday. She was found hanging from a ceiling fan at her official residence in the Kunjawani Army camp on the outskirts of the city.

The officer was identified as Captain Megha Razdan and she belonged to the 113 Engineering Regiment (Electrical and Mechanical Engineer). A court of inquiry has been ordered by the Army into the incident.

A suicide note was recovered by the police.
