Asian athletics meet from July 25

NEW DELHI: The 17th Asian athletics championships will be held at Irbid, about 80km north of Amman, Jordan, from July 25 to 29. Jordan is a last-minute alternative as the host country after Lebanon expressed its inability to host the meet in Beirut because of the prevailing situation in that country. — Special Correspondent
