Minor raped

Jammu: A 15-year-old girl was allegedly raped by her relative here, police said on Tuesday. The girl was taken to a deserted house in Trikuta Nagar area of the district last night by her brother-in-law and raped, they said. The accused escaped after the incident, leaving the victim unconscious, they said, adding the neighbours later shifted her to a hospital, where her condition was stated to be critical.

The girl later told police that her brother-in-law raped her, they said. A case under section 376 of Ranbir Panel Code (RPC) was registered against the accused, they said.
