TDP plea for a polling booth

CHITTOOR: The TDP has appealed to district Collector S.S. Rawat to arrange an election booth at Chenchuraju Kandriga in Pichatur mandal of Satyavedu constituency. Though the booth was there till the 2004 Assembly elections, it was removed during the 2006 Zilla Parishad elections for reasons unknown, even while retaining the second one in Ramapuram, which had lesser number of votes, the party’s State secretary B.N. Rajasimhulu and former Vepanjeri legislator R.Gandhi said in a representation. -Correspondent
