Army jawan killed in ambush

Jammu: An army jawan was killed and an officer critically injured in an ambush by militants in Rajouri district on Tuesday, official sources said.

Militants ambushed army party at Topa Post in Manowali Dhok area of Rajouri, they told PTI. In the attack, rifle man Bharat Singh was killed and Major J.N. Stephan was injured critically, they said. The troops took position and a gunbattle was on in the area. — PTI
