A sum of Rs. 72,000 seized from the accused
inspection: Superintendent of Police John Nicholson checking the shopping complex in Tuticorin on Tuesday.
Tuticorin: The police have arrested eight persons who were allegedly involved in gambling at a shopping complex in the town on Tuesday. A team led by the Superintendent of Police, John Nicholson, raided the complex based on a tip off. Sources said that Balamurgan, son of the owner of the complex, along with seven others were arrested from the place. A sum of Rs. 72,000 was seized from the accused.
