JAIPUR: Former Rajasthan Minister Chogaram Bakolia died in an Ahmedabad hospital on Tuesday after a brief illness. He was 63. He is survived by his wife, two sons and a daughter, Anita Bakolia, who is the Zila Pramukh of Sirohi. Mr. Bakolia was admitted to hospital seven days ago after brain haemorrhage. Starting his political career in 1980 after winning from Reodar seat in Sirohi district, Mr. Bakolia remained a Minister in Congress governments headed by Shiv Charan Mathur, Harideo Joshi and Ashok Gehlot. His body would be brought to Rajasthan for funeral.
