Plea against order on deeds deemed withdrawn High Court round-up

Kochi: A Division Bench of the Kerala High Court, on Tuesday, disposed of as withdrawn an appeal filed by the State Government against a single judge’s interim order staying the notice issued to Abad Motels and Resorts for cancellation of “Pattayams” (title deeds) of land in its possession in Munnar. The Bench, comprising Chief Justice H.L. Dattu and Justice K.T. Sankaran, said any clarification could be sought from the single judge.

Justice S. Siri Jagan extended by a week the stay against eviction of Club Mahindra resorts in Munnar. The judge passed the stay order on a plea filed by Mahindra Holidays Resorts India.
