Kalki Trust raises scholarship amount

CHENNAI: The Kalki Krishnamurthy memorial Trust has increased the total quantum of scholarships offered in the current academic year.
A release from the Trust said a sum of Rs 2.85 lakh would be distributed to bright students from economically poor background.
Eight scholarships for post-graduates at Rs 3,000 each; 67 scholarships for graduate students at Rs 2,000 each and 85 scholarships for plus two or polytechnic students at Rs 1,200 each.
For spastic children
Besides these, five scholarships at Rs 5,000 each are specially earmarked for spastic children requiring special education. For more details write to Managing Trustee, Kalki Krishnamurthy Memorial Trust, 14th Main Road, Kasturba Nagar, Adyar, Chennai 600 020 on or before July 15, the release added.
