London: The umpires for the one-day and Test series between England and India commencing this summer have been announced . Simon Taufel from Australia, Steve Bucknor from the West Indies and South Africa’s Ian Howell will officiate two of the three Tests. The series gets underway at Lord’s on July 19. Billy Doctrove will officiate the first three matches in the one-day series starting on August 21, with Aleem Dar taking over for the final four matches. The England and Wales Cricket Board is yet to announce which home umpires will partner Doctrove and Dar for the one-day series. Ranjan Madugalle will be the match referee for the Test series with Roshan Mahanama in charge for the one-dayers, the announcement added. — P. Subramanyam
