FARIDABAD: Host Haryana made it to the quarterfinals of both the boys’ and girls’ sections in the 35th National sub-junior carrom championship at the Manav Rachna Educational Institute, Surajkund Road, here. Tamil Nadu, Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh were the other teams to make the quarterfinals in both the sections. Delhi, Assam and Kerala made it to the last eight only in the boys’ section, while Chandigarh, Manipur and Maharashtra made the grade in the girls’ event. — Special Correspondent
