Tara Iyer in main draw

NEW DELHI: Tara Iyer beat Nungnadda Wannasuk of Thailand 6-1, 6-2 in the final qualifying round of the $25,000 ITF women’s Challenger tennis tournament at Nagoya, Japan, on Tuesday.

In the doubles pre-quarterfinals, Tara in partnership with Eun-Hye Cho of Korea got past Erika Sema and Tomoko Sugano of Japan 2-6, 6-1, 7-6(3).
