KOCHI: Activists of the All India Youth Federation (AIYF) and the All India Students’ Federation took out a march to Kolencherry Medical College here on Tuesday in protest against the Inter-church Council’s decision not to have Government quota for MBBS admission in colleges under it this academic year. The police prevented the activists from entering the campus. AIYF State secretary P.S. Supal, who inaugurated a dharna held in front of the college, said the managements should not try to commercialise professional education. The AIYF would strengthen its agitation against the managements which refused to hand over seats to the Government.
