No respite from fever

Thiruvananthapuram: More leptospirosis and dengue cases are being reported in the district with the intensifying monsoon. Of the 2,501 cases of viral fever reported on Tuesday, four have been confirmed as dengue fever. Two cases each of leptospirosis and malaria were also reported. Twenty-one cases are suspected to be chikungunya. Dengue fever cases were reported from Chempazhanthi, Kattakkada, Pulimath and Vilappil.
