M.Tech in Coastal Management offered

Chennai: Anna University is offering a two-year M.Tech programme in Coastal Management from the academic year 2007-08.

The M.Tech programme in Coastal Management is the first of its kind in the country. It covers all aspects of coastal management such as engineering, natural resources, social sciences and management, according to a press release.

The press release said that candidates with a bachelor’s degree in engineering, who have appeared for the Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET) 2007 conducted by Anna University, can apply for the course.

Applications for Tamil Nadu Common Admissions (TANCA) and other details can be had from the website, www.annauniv.edu/tanca2007.
