BANGALORE: Karnataka Haridasa Scientific Research Centre here will hold a three-day seminar on “Why Youngsters Shy Away from Pure Science” from July 13 at Vijayaranga, Vijayanagar, in Bangalore. Minister for Medical Education V.S. Acharya will inaugurate the seminar. The meet has been organised in view of a steady decline of admissions of students into basic science streams at the graduate and post-graduate levels, said a press note of the centre. — Special Correspondent.
