NEW DELHI: Senior Bharatiya Janata Party leader and Delhi MLA Karan Singh Tanwar has sought intervention of the Prime Minister to save a 100-year-old gurdwara from demolition in Delhi Cantonment. Addressing a press conference here, Mr. Tanwar produced a photocopy of a letter from the Station Commander of the Air Force Station dated March 9 that states that the gurdwara and the adjoining slum clusters would be demolished and a station headquarters would be constructed there. Mr. Tanwar appealed to the Prime Minister to issue necessary instructions to stop the demolition.
