Bomb scare at Amitabh’s house

Mumbai: Actor Amitabh Bachchan’s residence here was searched on Wednesday by officials using sniffer dogs of bomb disposal squad of the Mumbai police following information that some subversive act could be carried out there, police said.

The search, lasting an hour from 3 p.m., was conducted after a senior police officer got a tip off about the possibility that some subversive act could be carried out at Jalsa, the Juhu residence of the actor a police official said.

However, no explosives were found during the search, they added. — PTI
