A.P. hails dairy plan

NEW DELHI: The Andhra Pradesh Government on Thursday welcomed the proposed National Dairy Plan seeking to increase national milk production from the current 100 million tonnes to 180 million tonnes by 2022 by investing over Rs. 13,700 crore.

This was stated by the State Minister of Animal Husbandry, Dairy Development and Fisheries, Mandali Budha Prasad, who participated in the meeting of Ministers of Animal Husbandry & Dairy Development of States convened by Union Agriculture Minister Sharad Pawar.
