Puducherry: The Department of Health and Family Welfare here has announced that the mass drug administration of anti-filariasis DEC (Diethyl Carbamazine) tablets scheduled for July 7 has been postponed. A release from the Filaria Control Unit said here on Wednesday that the department would announce the revised date for the distribution of the tablets. The release did not mention the reason for postponement. — Special Correspondent
