Puducherry: The Nadaswaram and Thavil Artists Welfare Association in Puducherry has urged the Government to constitute a Welfare Board to address their grievances. Pon. Shanmugham, Secretary of the association, said in a release here on Thursday that the association also urged the Government to finalise lists Puduvai Kalai Maamani awardees soon. Free house site pattas for the artists and pension were among the other demands of the association.
