Rain at a few places

NEW DELHI: South west monsoon has been vigorous in Rajasthan.

RAINFALL: Rain/thundershowers have occurred at most places in east Rajasthan at many places in west Rajasthan and Uttaranchal, at a few places in Haryana, at isolated places in Himachal Pradesh, Punjab and Uttar Pradesh. Weather was dr y in the rest of the region. The chief amounts of rainfall are: HARYANA: Delhi Ridge and Narwana 2 each, New Delhi (Safdarjung and Palam) and Chandigarh 1 each, HIMACHAL PRADESH: Sunni Bhajji 6, Kandaghat 5 and Jubbal Rampur Bushar, Rohru, Jhanjehli and Rajgarh 2 each, EAST RAJASTHAN: (In Rainfall 3 cm and above) Deogarh 22, Bhim 21, Tatgarh 17, Raipur and Sarada 14 each, Mangliwas and Karera 13 each, Amet and Mokhunda 12 each, Bagor, Gyangarh, Merta and Dhambola 11 each, Ajmer, Hamirgarh and Mount Abu 10 each, Dabla, Sheoganj, Abu Road, Kelwara, Gangrar 9 each, Rawatbhata, Sawar, Shahpura, Nagore, Mavali, Veja and Garhi 7 each, Pisagan, Kishangarh, Asind, Kotri, Pindwara and Nathwara 6 each, Swai Madhopur, Udaipur A.P., Pushkar, Nasirabad, Jawaza, Masuda, Vijaynagar Bhilwara, Roopaheli, Mandal, Bijoliya, Deoli, Hindoli, Reodar, Gogunda, Chickli, Kesarpura, Loharia and Banera 5 each, Dungli, Danpur, Galiakot, Segwara, Jaipur (A.P.), Arai, Shamugarh, Hurda, Ladpura, Sangod, Chhabra, Sirohi and Devel 4 each and Udaipur, Sanganer, Chaksu, Beawar, Jahajpur, Kachola, Jayal, Mandana, Banswara, Choth ka Banwara, Girva, Vallabhnagar, Jhadol Kanwa, Ganeshpur Nimbahera and Sallopat 3 each, WEST RAJASTHAN: Sojat 24, Marwah 18, Jatrain 17, Bali 16, Desuri 12, Sumerpur 11, Pali 10, Bilara and Raipur 9 each, Balotra and Ahore 5 each, Jalore and Rohat 4 each and Jodhpur, Pachpadra, Shergarh and Bhinmal 3 each, EAST UTTAR PRADESH: Birdghat and Regoli 3 each and Mukhlishpur 2, WEST UTTAR PRADESH: Bareilly 1 and UTTARANCHAL: Dehradun (FM) 6, Dehradun 5, Uttarkashi and Hardwar 3 each, Kalagarh 2 and New Tehri and Joshimath 1 each.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL THE MORNING OF 07th JULY 2007: Rain/thundershowers will occur at most places in east Rajasthan, at many places in Haryana, west Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal, at a few places in Himachal Pradesh and Punjab and at isolated places in the rest of the region.

FORECAST FOR DELHI AND NEIGHBOURHOOD VALID UNTIL THE MORNING OF 07th JULY 2007: Generally cloudy sky with a few spells of rain/thundershowers.
