The Telugu Desam, the CPI, the CPI (M) and local NGOs are preparing to submit objections over the establishment of the unit at a cost of Rs.115 crores on an area of 35 acres close to the seashore. The public hearing will begin at 10 a.m. The unit will manufacture 12 types of synthetic organic and biotech-based chemicals. It will have a production capacity of 4,750 tonnes per annum.
