Applications invited for award

CHENNAI: Rajah Sir Annamalai Chettiar Memorial Trust has invited applications for the award for the best organisation engaged in the development of the physically challenged children.

The award, carrying a cash prize of Rs.1 lakh and a citation, will be presented on the occasion of the birthday of Kumara Rajah M.A.M. Muthiah Chettiar on September 6.

According to a press release, organisations desirous of applying may send in their particulars, including an audited statement of accounts for the year ending March 31, 2007 and a copy of the date of registration.

The applications should be despatched on or before August 5 to The Secretary, Rajah Sir Annamalai Chettiar Memorial Trust, Rani Seethai Hall, 603, Anna Salai, Chennai 600 006.
