Paswan takes up the cause of physically challenged

PATNA: Union Steel Minister and Lok Jan Shakti Party chief Ram Vilas Paswan espoused the cause of the physically challenged on the occasion of his birthday here on Thursday. Mr. Paswan distributed more than 2000 three-wheel cycles at a public function organised to celebrate his birthday. He demanded three per cent reservation for them in the private sector stressing that they did not lack talent.
The legislative wing of the party had decided to present its chief with a golden crown at a function to be held at his residence later in the evening. The state unit of the party has announced to present him with a cheque of Rs. 51 lakh.
Mr. Paswan has invited the Railway Minister and Rashtriya Janata Dal president Lalu Prasad and the Chief Minister Nitish Kumar to dinner.
