Mad rush for marriages as ‘Lucky 7’ approaches

An auspicious day arrives when the clock strikes 12 midnight on July 7. Considered one of the most propitious days, people in the city are gearing up for weddings, house warming ceremonies and making new investments hoping that the ‘good day’ will bring them lots of good luck.

There seems to be a mad rush to get married on Saturday this week as astrologers predict that July 7 is indeed a day which comes once in two decades. All the digits on the date line are 07-07-07 and more importantly, what makes it so special is that the alignment of the date is on the seventh day of the week.

So who’s wedding are you attending this Saturday?
