Scorpio jeep catches fire

NEW DELHI: A Scorpio jeep burst into flames at Tilak Marg here on Thursday, apparently due to a short-circuit in the wires. No one was injured.

Ram Singh was going towards ITO in his vehicle when driver Mohan Singh noticed fumes emanating from the bonnet. They immediately got off the vehicle and called up the police and the Fire Service Department. The vehicle was, however, completely gutted by the time the fire tenders arrived.
