PDS commodities seized from traders

PUDUKOTTAI: In a surprise raid on a couple of residences in Ponnamaravthy, a flying squad from the Revenue Department recently seized 400 litres of kerosene and 80 kg of rice, meant for public distribution through fair price shops.

S. Ganesan (55) and N. Ramasubramanian (45), had hoarded the essential commodities at their houses.

Action had been taken against the traders, according to the District Supply Officer, P. Subramanian.
