TAMBARAM: Jewels weighing 28 sovereigns were stolen from a house in East Tambaram on Wednesday. Police said Lakshmipathy was staying on the first floor of his house. He went outside around 4 p.m. When he returned an hour later, he noticed the door broken and almirah broken open.
