Thiruvananthapuram: Air Deccan has introduced an additional ATR-72 flight from Chennai to Thiruvananthapuram. The flight DN-117 will leave Chennai at 7.30 p.m. to reach Thiruvananthapuram at 9.05 p.m. The DN-118 flight, in the return direction, will depart from here at 9.20 p.m. to reach Chennai at 10.55 p.m. According to the airline, the ATR-72 will be able to fly 72 passengers. Air Deccan has on offer more than 2.5 lakh seats per month in South India alone and leads the market with 40 per cent share in terms of seats offered in the South. The new flight will be in addition to the existing one being operated using an A-320 aircraft that can accommodate 180 passengers.
