Indore: A deaf and dumb woman, also affected with AIDS, was allegedly raped and killed by some unidentified persons here on Friday, police said. The victim was strangulated to death under mysterious circumstances, police said, adding it appears that she has been raped by the accused. The body was found near her house in the Devendra Nagar area, without proper clothing leading to suspicion that she was raped before being killed. The victim’s husband had died some time back and he too was an AIDS patient, police said, adding it has registered a case and further probe is on.
