Anomalies panel report by September

HYDERABAD: The anomalies committee on pay scales of the Government employees, headed by N. Rangachari, is likely to submit its report by September with recommendations to rectify the discrepancies. Mr Rangachari reportedly gave an assurance to this effect when representatives of the employees’ organisations submitted a memorandum to him at the Secretariat on Friday, highlighting anomalies in the pay-scales.

The representatives, led by the chairman and secretary-general of the JAC of the Employees, Teachers and Workers, V. Gopal Reddy and D. Sudhakar, demanded that the number of time-scales be further reduced.
