Rain in Kerala.

CHENNAI: Rainfall occurred at most places over Kerala and coastal Karnataka and at a few places over south interior Karnataka. Isolated rainfall occurred over Tamil Nadu, Telangana and north interior Karnataka. Mainly dry weather prevailed over coastal Andhra Pradesh and Lakshadweep and dry weather prevailed over Rayalaseema.

The following stations recorded heavy rainfall in centimetres:

Peerumedu (Idukki dt.) 10 and Bhagamandala (Kodagu dt.) 7.

The other chief amounts of rainfall recorded in centimetres are:

Madikeri and Agumbe 6 each, Valparai, Subramanya (Dakshina Kannada dt.), Kozhikode Airport and Thodupuzha (Idukki dt.) 5 each.

WEATHER (Valid until Sunday morning): Rain or thundershowers are likely at most places over coastal Karnataka, at many places over Kerala and interior Karnataka and at a few places over Lakshadweep.

Isolated rain or thundershowers are likely over Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Andhra Pradesh.
