Rastogi ousted

NEW DELHI: Karan Rastogi and Jacob Melskens of Denmark went down 5-7, 5-7 to Anas Fattar and Mehdi Ziadi of Morocco in the doubles semifinals of the $10,000 ITF men’s Futures tennis tournament on clay at Rabat, Morocco.

He had failed to cross the first hurdle earlier as the top seed in singles.

At the $25,000 ITF women’s Challenger at Nagoya, Japan, Tara Iyer and Eun-Hye Cho of Korea lost 2-6, 1-6 in the doubles quarterfinals to Natsumi Hamamura of Japan and Shan-Shan Song of China.
