Full points for St. Germain’s

Bangalore: There was no play in the St. Joseph’s Boys High School inter-school hockey tournament here on Friday as Sarla Birla Academy gave a walk-over to St. Germain’s High School in the seniors’ section for the Centenary Shield.

St. Germain’s was awarded full points and three goals were added to its tally as per the rules of the tournament.

Sarla Birla Academy was unable to participate because of a function at its school.

In the juniors’ section for the Father Eric Vaz Trophy, Bishop Cotton High School pulled out of the tournament causing an upset in the scheduling.
