Mysore: Helped by an inspiring all-round performance from Subramanya, Citizen’s English High School, Nanjangud registered a big 20-9 win over Adhichunchanagiri High School to enter the semifinals in the boys’ section in the district-level kho-kho tournament for High School (boys & girls), conducted by MDKKA at the University grounds here on Friday.

High School boys:Quarterfinals: Citizen’s English School (N’gud) bt Adhichunchanagiri HS 20-9; Pandith Nehru HS bt Annayappa HS 15-14; Vasavi (K’nagar) bt Sarada Vilas HS 13-6.
High School girls: Semifinals: Bagini Seva Samaja bt Govt. High School (A’puram) 10-2; Adhichunchanagiri HS bt Gokul HS 8-3.
