Prajwal, Sandeep shine

BANGALORE: Good bowling by Prajwal (six for 84) runs and a stroke-filled 91 by Sandeep helped Neptue CC defeat Young Cricketers by eight wickets in the KSCA third division league here recently.

In another third division match, a century by S. Raj (115) went in vain as Hanumnathanagar CC lost to City Cricketers by eight wickets.

Meanwhile, Sandeep hit a century (109) for Chamarajpet CC which drew with Jeevanbhimanagar. In the second division, Nidish slammed 119 for SUCC 2.

Second division: Bangalore Occassionals 240 for nine decl. in 38.1 overs (Siddarth Singh 54, Manish 65) lost to Jolly Cricketers 241 for six in 26.1 overs (Prashanth 53 not out).

Friends Union CC 2 85 in 24.3 overs (K.P. Rohan four for 32) lost to Jawahar SC 2 86 for one in 15.5 overs.

Swastic Union CC 2 258 for nine decl. in 54 overs (M. Nidish 119, Sudarshan six for 59) drew with Visweswarapuram CC (1) 246 for eight in 42 overs (Harish 57, M.K. Srinivas 56).

Standard Cricket Club 110 in 30.4 overs lost to Mount Joy 112 for five in 13.5 overs (Amith 62).

Sir Syed Cricketers 284 for seven in 48 overs (Ibrez 41) drew with Jaidur Cricketers 208 for seven in 50 overs (Chetan 70, Rahul 50).
