Prajwal, Sandeep shine

BANGALORE: Good bowling by Prajwal (six for 84) runs and a stroke-filled 91 by Sandeep helped Neptue CC defeat Young Cricketers by eight wickets in the KSCA third division league here recently.

In another third division match, a century by S. Raj (115) went in vain as Hanumnathanagar CC lost to City Cricketers by eight wickets.

Meanwhile, Sandeep hit a century (109) for Chamarajpet CC which drew with Jeevanbhimanagar. In the second division, Nidish slammed 119 for SUCC 2.

Second division: Bangalore Occassionals 240 for nine decl. in 38.1 overs (Siddarth Singh 54, Manish 65) lost to Jolly Cricketers 241 for six in 26.1 overs (Prashanth 53 not out).

Friends Union CC 2 85 in 24.3 overs (K.P. Rohan four for 32) lost to Jawahar SC 2 86 for one in 15.5 overs.

Swastic Union CC 2 258 for nine decl. in 54 overs (M. Nidish 119, Sudarshan six for 59) drew with Visweswarapuram CC (1) 246 for eight in 42 overs (Harish 57, M.K. Srinivas 56).

Standard Cricket Club 110 in 30.4 overs lost to Mount Joy 112 for five in 13.5 overs (Amith 62).

Sir Syed Cricketers 284 for seven in 48 overs (Ibrez 41) drew with Jaidur Cricketers 208 for seven in 50 overs (Chetan 70, Rahul 50).

Jupiter Cricketers 179 in 53.2 overs (Govindraj four for 76) bt Dooravani Cricketers 1 121 in 31.1 overs (Madhu 40, Sunil five for 67).

Third division: Young Cricketers 1 162 in 52 overs (Prajwal six for 84) lost to Neptune CC 164 for two in 26.4 overs (Sandeep 91, G.R. Ranjan 41 not out).

Dolphin Cricketers 119 in 51.5 overs (Madhu six for 24) lost to Modern CC 120 for two in 22.3 overs (Vishnu 46 not out).

Chamarajpet CC l 285 for nine decl. in 46.2 overs (Sandeep 109, Mahender 66, Venkat four for 71) drew with Jeevanbhimanagar CC 247 for nine in 47 overs (Keshav 42, Pradeep 40, Nishanth 56, Bhavesh five for 90).

Spartons SC 140 in 30.3 overs lost to Gary Cricketers 141 for two in 15.4 overs (Vikar Ahmed 55).

Hanumanthanagar CC 180 in 42.1 overs (S. Raj Karin 115) lost to City Cricketers 1 181 for two in 35.4 overs (Prakash Savani 43, Hemanth 61 not out).
