Land dispute leads to murder

BERHAMPUR: Y. Areya, 55, of Digipur village under Gopalpur police station was murdered allegedly by his cousin Y. Madhav Rao on Friday afternoon. Madhav is absconding.

Areya was attacked after a village meeting held to settle a land tussle between the two on Friday morning. The village committee decided in favour of Areya.
